What LCL changes
Shared space still needs a shipment-specific plan.
LCL allows smaller cargo to move in a shared ocean container. That can be a practical alternative to booking a dedicated box, but it adds receiving, consolidation and deconsolidation handoffs.
We assess those handoffs with the sailing, documents and destination arrangements before confirming the route and service scope.

What does LCL consolidation mean?
Less than Container Load (LCL) combines compatible smaller shipments into a shared container. Each shipment still needs its own booking information, documents and destination release plan.
When should I consider FCL instead?
A dedicated Full Container Load (FCL) may be a better fit when volume, handling sensitivity, timing or the number of transfers favors an exclusive container. We can compare both for the route.
Is the departure date guaranteed?
Consolidation depends on receiving cutoffs, cargo readiness, carrier schedules and available space. We confirm the planned option at quotation and booking, and communicate changes if a handoff shifts.
Can you support both import and export LCL?
Yes. Skystar offers import and export consolidation through its overseas partner network. Lane availability, receiving arrangements and the final service scope are checked for each enquiry.
